Finding joy through custom pet portraits

There are so many "things" we can buy to decorate our homes, but how many of them hold personal meaning? How do the random prints or knick-knacks from the big box store make us feel every day?

When we surround ourselves with people and creatures and things that bring us joy, it fills our hearts and makes life just a little more fun. I choose to adorn my living space with art that friends created, photos of places I've been and people I love, and I choose to invest in custom artwork of my furry family members, because that's what I value. It brings me joy!

A few years ago, I commissioned an *amazing* painting of my crew - Simon, Gracie, and Chippy - from DC Ice, a local Minneapolis artist. The process on my end was fun too: digging through old photos to send DC the ones that best conveyed their personalities, anticipating what the final product would be.

Now that it's here, I can't stop looking at it; I just love it so much :)
