Urns

Many people like to keep their pet's ashes in a special urn. The ashes themselves are generally not visible, and the urns are decorative pieces, meant to be displayed and enjoyed.

Urns can be made of many different materials, including glass, wood, metal, stone and ceramic. They can be elaborate or simple, engraved and personalized. They might hold a photograph or your pet's collar.

Your veterinarian or crematorium will likely have some options to choose from, or they can be purchased online. It can even just be a small vessel you already have at home.

Big Sky Urns

This gorgeous handmade ceramic urn doubles as a watertight vase. The hidden urn area is separated from the vase by sustainably harvested wood. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, they're now available for purchase on their website.

 Biodegradable urns

You can create something living and beautiful with your pet's ashes with a Bios Urn. It's fully biodegradable and contains a tree seed of your choice.

Additionally, there are lots of unique options and ideas for urns on etsy.com
