Essential Oils

There are a variety of reasons why people choose to use essential oils with their animals. Because they are all natural and derived from plants, they reduce the amount of chemicals and toxins used on our pets.

Read our in-depth blog post about using essential oils with pets.

Essential oils can help:

  • Relieve anxiety
  • Soothe allergies
  • Reduce pain
  • Repel insects

Depending on the oils and their intended benefits, they can be utilized in different ways:

  • Massaged directly onto the animal's skin
  • Diffused into the air
  • Or added to their food or water

It's important to note that essential oils that are highly concentrated, and what works for humans doesn't always work for animals. Be sure to work with a professional who has experience with both essential oils and animals.

Young Living has some great tips for using essential oils with animals.
