When she received the news that her beloved cat, Fox, had early stage kidney disease, Meg contacted me to book a session. Before Fox’s condition worsened, Meg wanted to surprise her husband with photographs of him.
Shortly upon entering the door, I was greeted by Fox, a handsome orange tabby with a robust meow and personality to match. Within moments, he had thoroughly sniffed my camera bag, and even curled up inside of it. In typical cat fashion, he graced me with his presence for a few minutes, then sauntered away. Oblivious to my camera’s clicking shutter, Fox followed his own agenda for the afternoon - perching on a living room chair, gazing out a window and curling up Meg’s lap for a brief nap. Still spry at 15, Fox also took to stalking and attacking a few toys I had brought with me. By the end of our session, Fox had me wrapped around his irresistible white tipped ringed tail.
