I know Stephanie as the Pug Lady. She owns three of her own, (yes three!) she runs a shelter in which she takes on rescues of this breed, gives them the proper care and them finds them loving homes. On top of that she is the administrator (and active participant) in a web community for local pug owners.
I was surprised to learn she also had a Pomeranian, Scooby. Turns out this lovely bundle of love was her first dog. She was actually looking into getting a Chihuahua but had a look at this adoring face and fell in love.
They have been sharing many years together and as, unfortunately, he is getting older and started having some health issues, she decided it was time to take some professional photos of him. I was warned he could have seizures during the shoot (and he had many the week before) so we worked hard to make it as stress-free and quick, but not rushed, as possible.
The day of his big photo session, we were thrilled that he was in good health and excellent spirits. He was vibrant, energetic and had a spark in his eye! (I did video to capture his cheery walk!) He was so happy to spend quality time with his human and be the star of the show. It was so obvious the pair share a unique bond and love for each other!
What a fun day we had, and the memories will last a lifetime!
